Do you want to play at Folk Spot Denmark 2018 in Tønder? Then it's time to apply now.
Folk Spot Denmark is a showcase program held at Tønder Festival on August 24 and 25, 2018. Folk Spot Denmark 2018 is the seventh edition of the showcase and is organized through a collaboration between Tønder Festival and SPOT Festival.
The goal of Folk Spot Denmark is to increase awareness of Danish folk, roots and folk music abroad, so that Danish orchestras have better opportunities to create concert jobs with a more international audience.
Eight folk, roots and folk music bands or soloists will be selected to play a showcase concert for around 40 specially invited international industry professionals, journalists, bookers, managers, etc. – as well as the always enthusiastic audience of Tønder Festival. In addition to the showcase concerts, there will be meetings and networking events between the performing bands and the invited industry professionals.
