RadioFolk.dk is run by the association Mediehaven.

The purpose of the Mediehaven association is to disseminate and spread knowledge of and interest in primarily Danish folk music and related genres and to strengthen the area's position in the national and international media landscape.
This happens, among other things, by:

● to operate and develop the Radiofolk.dk platform.
● to develop and test new media and communication formats.
● to collaborate with other media and media platforms.
● to collaborate with music industry players.
● to contribute to audience development, for example in relation to strengthening geographical, gender and age diversity.
● to include sustainability perspectives in the association's work.

The association took over the operation of RadioFolk.dk in 2018 with the aim of further developing and expanding the concept so that it can benefit even more people.

Foreperson: Morten Alfred Høirup
Musician, composer, producer, podcaster and radio host on RadioFolk.dk. Morten is responsible for the daily operation of the platform.

Owner of the record label Go' Danish Folk Music, which specializes in publishing Danish folk music.

Singer, collector and tradition bearer in, among others, the orchestras Guldganger and Døgnrytme.

Musician and teacher at Engelsholm College.

Violinist, composer and folk music entrepreneur
