You can already find the podcast series and the music magazine '‘The Cat in the Sack‘', with a focus on the Danish folk music scene, on www.radiofolk.dk, and new sections are added continuously – here is, for example, a link to the July section!
You can also hear an incredibly varied selection of folk and world music from around the globe, seen from the United States, in the American podcast series ‘'RootsWorld Radio – Listening to the Planet'’, which our friend and colleague Cliff Furnald from New Haven, Connecticut, USA, produces every week.
On November 14th, we will premiere the podcast series 'The Secrets of the Players – a journey into Danish folk music', based on interviews with prominent musicians and folk music activists from the Danish folk music community.
During the autumn we will be offering 'Folk Live', a series of podcasts with live recordings from Folk Spot Denmark at Tønder Festival 2018. You can already find similar live recordings from 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 via this link.
