On South Falster, folk music has been very popular for the past 50 years. It has been played for family dances, exchanged with the Faroe Islands, Sweden and Scotland, but also collected and taught local melodies. Two of the most important music books are Adrian's and Borcher Madsen's and they have a close connection to the College in Marielyst and Arne and Jan, who
