On November 14, Tempi – Roots Music of Denmark will hold a reception in connection with the premiere of the podcast series “Spillefolkenes Hemmeghilder – a journey in Danish folk music”.
The podcast has so far consisted of six episodes in which a musician, composer and music journalist Morten Alfred Hoirup interviews a number of prominent players on the Danish folk music scene. He asks about the core of their work, and together they uncover some of the deepest secrets of their profession.
The series, which is aimed at listeners who may be curious but are not part of the folk music community, can be heard on, among other things, www.radiofolk.dk from November 14th.
At the reception, which is open to everyone, there will be music and storytelling by a singer and tradition bearer. Mia Goldhammer musician, composer and multi-instrumentalist Martin Seeberg and musician, programmer and sound designer David Mondrup.
