Is it raining? Or do you just have enough time to immerse yourself for once?<br \/>\nOn the radiofolk.dk website you can enjoy a whole world of good Danish folk music, and all you need is a phone or a computer with internet access. Here you have free access to lots of exciting roots and folk music reports, interviews and live music, which you can live-stream, stream on demand or podcast, whenever you want.<br \/>\nFor example, there are currently more than 40 editions of the magazine program \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/radiofolk.dk\/en\/katten-i-saekkenthe-cat-in-the-bag\/\">The Cat in the Sack<\/a>\u201c&quot;, where the host, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mortenalfred.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Morten Alfred Hoirup<\/a>, takes you down into the engine room of folk music, and up into the musicians&#039; closets. Here you will also find completely unique live recordings with bands and soloists from the Danish folk music scene, recordings that you cannot hear anywhere else.<br \/>\nIn this one <a href=\"https:\/\/radiofolk.dk\/en\/katten-i-saekkenthe-cat-in-the-bag\/?sp=2449\">4th edition of The Cat in the Sack<\/a>\u00a0From 2014, for example, you can hear the recently deceased clarinetist Peter Bastian, and violinist Hans J\u00f8rgen Christensen and cimbalom player George Mihalache, entertain at Halk\u00e6r Festival until laughter resounds.<br \/>\nOr how about a program like \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/radiofolk.dk\/en\/whats-cooking-folks-et-radiofolk-dk-program-om-den-internationale-roots-folk-and-trad-music-scene\/\">What&#039;s Cooking Folks?<\/a>\u201c&quot;, where international musicians talk and play music with some of the roots, folk and folk music constellations that are burning through in their local area right now?<br \/>\nOne of them is the American fiddler Jamie Fox, a Metis Indian from the Belknap Reservation in the state of Montana, <a href=\"https:\/\/radiofolk.dk\/en\/whats-cooking-folks-et-radiofolk-dk-program-om-den-internationale-roots-folk-and-trad-music-scene\/?sp=9419\">as told here<\/a> about what is happening to the violin music of the Native Americans.<br \/>\nNot to mention the many great live recordings from T\u00f8nder Festival with super sharp Danish bands and soloists.
