One afternoon at the end of March, I met with Britta Thougaard who, as a volunteer, has booked folk music for Klaverfabrikken&#039;s folk Club \u2013 or Klaverfabrikken\/Folk as they call themselves \u2013 for the 20 years the club has existed. Klaverfabrikken is one of the Capital Region&#039;s important venues, not least for the folk music community with 10-12 annual folk music concerts on the bill, and Britta has promised this late afternoon to show me around Klaverfabrikken, and tell me about her work as a booker, and she has promised to play music with some of the folk bands that they have had visitors from over the years. Britta is a physiotherapist at a psychiatric ward in Hiller\u00f8d, and works with teaching patients and managing mental illness.
