Then the house unfolds, one room takes over another with beautiful home-carved wooden kitchen cabinets, paintings, rag rugs, everything is like an old fisherman's house. We sit at a beautiful, white, oval wooden table and Fin has his many CD releases lying in front of him, next to a pad of paper and pencil.

Here Fin talks about his childhood and his life with music, his wanderings and his collection of songs and lyrics. His childhood in the post-war years, where everyone wanted peace and where the childhood home was so cramped that he and a friend, at the age of 12, started wandering around the country and later literally out of the country. They stayed overnight in hostels and collected experiences and everything worth collecting; Music and song.

Already in the courtyard in front of the little yellow house in Dragør where singer and fiddler Fin Alfred lives, I can feel that I am entering a parallel universe.
