Thank you for that!<\/p>\n<p>One day in early February 2026 I visited Mads Kj\u00f8ller Henningsen in that small cozy apartment on <em>Amager<\/em>, where he lives with his wife and partner, violinist <em>Clara Tesch<\/em>, and their four-year-old daughter <em>Vigga<\/em>. It was a bitterly cold day just around the corner. <em>Candlelight Mass<\/em>, and it was really good to come inside and have a nice, hot cup of tea.<\/p>\n<p>Mads Kj\u00f8ller Henningsen plays in a sea of exciting bands on the Danish folk music scene, bands like <em>Floating Sofa Quartet<\/em>, <em>Troll Poland<\/em>, <em>Colour Street<\/em>, <em>Mob<\/em>, <em>The Ghost in the Kitchen<\/em> and <em>Lars Lilholt Band<\/em>, and here you can hear him play instruments such as Nordic and Irish bagpipes, hurdy-gurdy, tin and wooden flutes, skalmeje, jew&#039;s harp, octave mandolin, pedal organ and various forms of percussion - or as Lilholt usually says when he introduces Mads on stage: &quot;Here we have Mads Kj\u00f8ller-Henningsen on flute and other small flammable things&quot;.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, Mads is active in the phenomenon <em>Nordic Dance<\/em>, where young people meet and dance together, among other things, at <em>Wartow<\/em> i <em>Colour Street<\/em> close to <em>Town Hall Square<\/em> i <em>Copenhagen<\/em>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"cfm-player-iframe\" style=\"width: 100%; height: 200px; margin-bottom: 20px; border-radius: 6px; overflow:hidden;\"><iframe style=\"width: 100%; height: 200px;\" frameborder=\"no\" scrolling=\"no\" seamless allow=\"autoplay\" src=\"https:\/\/player.captivate.fm\/episode\/56148248-7dd6-4037-a3da-be4b3d535568\"><\/iframe><\/div><p>Welcome to a podcast about the Copenhagen multi-instrumentalist and composer, Mads Kj\u00f8ller Henningsen.
