This podcast is produced by <em>RadioFolk.dk<\/em> before <em>Media Garden<\/em>, and is supported by <em>The Islands Art Foundation<\/em>. Thank you for that!<\/p>\n<p>One evening in early December I visit the venue <em>Bartof Station<\/em> which is located in a basement on <em>Frederiksberg<\/em> i <em>Copenhagen<\/em> to have a chat with the four gentlemen behind Grassolin. The band consists of <em>Nikolaj Rysager<\/em> on guitar and singing, <em>Soren Korshoj<\/em> on violin and choir, <em>Michael Engman Torp<\/em> on bass and choir and <em>Ronni \u00d8hlers Hauptman<\/em> on washboard, drums and choir, and together they play with great love for, and respect for, <em>Kim Larsen<\/em> and Gasolin, on large and small stages across the country, from <em>Skagen Festival<\/em> in the North, to <em>Barrel Festival<\/em> in the south, from <em>Bramfri Festival<\/em> i <em>Rudkoebing<\/em>, to <em>Warehouse 8<\/em> i <em>Presto<\/em>, and this evening at the venue Bartof Station in Frederiksberg in Copenhagen.<\/p>\n<p>Bartof Caf\u00e9 is sold out, and the owner is buzzing around to make sure everyone gets a seat. The atmosphere is good and the conversation is flowing, and while people sit down with a beer or a glass of wine, I get to chat with the band.
