Thank you for that!<\/p>\n<p>When Walther suggested that we come and record a very special concert with him in his childhood home, we jumped at the chance. Walther has released several solo albums with titles such as <em>Country boy<\/em>, <em>Walther<\/em> and <em>Calm &amp; Voices of Today<\/em>, but in connection with this concert Walther invited his good friend and colleague Dennis Hedegaard Bengtson, with whom he plays in the duo <em>Black Birds<\/em>, to come and join in singing some songs from their shared repertoire. <\/p>\n<p>When we arrived at Walther&#039;s childhood home, a small, well-kept farmhouse just outside <em>Horbelev<\/em> on Falster, we were warmly welcomed, and we could see right away that it was a home full of music. On the walls hung framed posters with legends like <em>Johnny Cash<\/em>, <em>Willie Nelson<\/em> and <em>Merle Haggard<\/em>, and rarely have we seen a record collection like the one Walther&#039;s father showed off with a certain pride.<\/p>\n<p>The concert itself, which had been sold out for a long time, took place in the common room where the house&#039;s billiard table probably used to stand - it had been moved, and in its place about 40 chairs had been set up and a small stage and a bar had been built.
